For each ticket purchased, College/University students must present a valid student ID from an accredited institution. Buying two tickets? You must present TWO student IDs at will call.

Note: There is a limit of 2 student tickets per order.

Subject to availability, student rush tickets are offered at the box office starting one hour before showtime.

Don't want to wait in line? Current students can purchase $15 tickets online for main series productions and Steppenwolf for Young Adults productions. Enter code STUDENT15 before selecting your seats, and proceed to check out.

High school students can purchase $5 tickets online in advance for any performances in the first two weeks of a Steppenwolf production (previews). Enter code HS5 before selecting your seats, and proceed to check out.

After previews, $5 high school rush tickets are available in-person at the box office starting one hour before showtime.

Graduating from College soon? Affordable theatre is still available to you through the RED Card, our special membership for Twenty Somethings. For just $99 you get a card worth six tickets to use however you want plus special perks like in-theater drink discounts and a whole lot more.

Look good in black and white?  Student ushers see shows at Steppenwolf for FREE. Volunteering as an usher is a great way for theatre enthusiasts to go behind-the-scenes: come with a friend or come on your own, email usher@steppenwolf.org for availability.
