About This Show

So, God called herself trying to be cute one day and was like “Black Women are so talented, creative and resilient. Let me mix some of them up and see what they come up with.” So she took a pair of Timberlands, a pair of Cowboy boots, and a “Chicago Over Everything” baseball cap and dropped them on the doorstep of a theater in Chicago, IL. Thus, BAPS Comedy was born.

Brandyburg, Jillian, and AB are excited to bring you their tales of friendships, relationships, love, laughter, and entirely too many dating profiles. From dating and sexting to ghosting and friendships that last, they have been through it all and damn do they have some stories to tell! A sketch show done like only BAPS Comedy can do it, we bring you BAPS Comedy: A Love Story.


About BAPS

BAPS: A Comedy Variety Showcase is based out of Chicago, IL and showcases women of color in comedy. BAPS was created to fill a void in Chicago: providing a platform for talented women of color in a typically male-dominated industry. BAPS includes everything from stand-up and solo sketches to music and storytelling.
