About this show

At You're Being Ridiculous, real people tell true stories about their lives. Each performer is linked by our rotating themes, and by the desire to make you laugh-and, once in a while, cry. Our motto: Good stories are better than good times. We laugh at ourselves and laugh with each other. Everyone has a story to tell. What's yours?

FROM JEREMY OWENS:

We're dancing in the streets screaming with joy to at LONG LAST return to Steppenwolf after a TWO YEAR Covid hiatus. Please join us as we bust out of quarantine and celebrate our triumphant return with a joy—themed show full of all the fun, happy tears and laughter you've been craving. This is our big return to the stage, think of it as your next booster shot, the balm for everything that has been ailing you. You need all these laughs! You cannot miss this one, doctor's orders!

"The art of storytelling is on display at Steppenwolf Theatre’s 1700 space. Hosted by the lanky and affable Jeremy Owens, You’re Being Ridiculous features a rotating cast of performers. This is not an occasion to be missed."
